Terms of use
1. What it does
xvd lets you add subtitles and a logo to videos on your phone or videos you posted on X, and saves the result to Photos.
2. Content and permissions
Use xvd only with videos you have the right to use: your own, or ones whose owner gave you permission. You must get the rights holder's permission before sharing or reposting someone else's video. Complying with copyright, personality rights and X's terms is your responsibility. xvd is not affiliated with or endorsed by X.
3. Pro subscription
- Pro is an auto-renewing weekly or yearly App Store subscription, charged to your Apple ID account.
- It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancel or manage it under iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Any free trial is shown at purchase; the unused portion is forfeited when the subscription starts.
- Refunds are subject to Apple's rules.
4. Free plan and limits
Subtitles work on videos up to 30 seconds on the free plan and up to 5 minutes on Pro. The logo is part of Pro. Requests made with links are rate limited for fair use.
5. Accounts
xvd has no accounts. Pro is tied to your Apple ID; on a new phone, Restore on the subscription screen brings it back.
6. Liability
xvd is provided as is. Bringing in a video from a link may stop working temporarily because of changes on X's side; subscription fees are then handled under Apple's policies. We are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the app.
7. Changes
If these terms change, this page is updated. Continued use means you accept the current terms.
